About Us

Hi, I’m Leah 👋

A mom, home cook, and the heart behind Toddler Parent Kitchen.

I know firsthand how challenging it can be to feed toddlers—especially when you’re navigating picky eating, busy schedules, and the constant question in your mind: “Am I doing this right?” Toddlerhood is one of the most rewarding — and exhausting — stages of parenting. Between growth spurts, changing appetites, and ever-shifting food preferences, mealtimes can quickly feel overwhelming.

Why I Started Toddler Parent Kitchen

Toddler Parent Kitchen began in my own kitchen during one of those overwhelming seasons of motherhood.

I found myself asking the same questions many parents do:

  • Why does every meal feel like a negotiation?
  • What should I cook today?
  • Why does my toddler suddenly refuse foods they loved yesterday?
  • Am I feeding them the “right” way?

Instead of chasing perfection, I started focusing on simple, balanced, and realistic meals—and that changed everything.

This blog grew from that experience.

A Gentle Reminder for Parents

If you’re feeling unsure, tired, or frustrated with mealtimes—you are not alone. Picky phases are normal. Messy meals are normal. Some days, eating well feels like a win, and other days, it doesn’t—and that’s okay. What matters most is showing up, offering nourishment, and building healthy habits one step at a time.

If you’re looking for simple, realistic, and wholesome ways to feed your toddler—you’re in the right place.

Welcome to Toddler Parent Kitchen

Surviving toddlerhood, one meal at a time.
